AIT has been officially re-registered as an Active Member of the Gallery Climate Coalition [GCC], a non-profit organization founded by gallerists and arts professionals with the primary goals of Its main goals are to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the visual arts sector by at least 50% by 2030, and to promote “zero-waste” practices.
The GCC began an initiative in the spring of 2023 to formally recognize as “Active Members” those organizations and individuals among its subscribing members who are taking effective steps toward environmental responsibility.
